April 10, 2021 - Early exit at KSP
1On Saturday afternoon Austin Theiss returned with the DFW Local Late Model Series at Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale, Texas) for the $1,000 prize. With 22 Late Models entered, Theiss posted a runner-up finish in his heat behind Tom Earl, pinning him on the second row for the main event. March 26, 2021 - Top-5 finish at HOT Speedway
1Friday night saw Austin Theiss make his first start of the season with the DFW Local Late Model Series at Heart O’ Texas Speedway (Waco, Texas) as the second-year series got their season underway. In a field of 19 cars, Austin posted a third-place finish in his heat race, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the feature. With $1,000 on the line, Theiss initially crossed the line in sixth but after the top-two finishers were disqualified, he was elevated to a fourth-place finish, trailing Patrik Daniel, Chris Bragg, and Dean Abbey across the line with Dustin Woods coming in fifth.

March 20, 2021 - Theiss visits Arkansas for Comp Cams doubleheader
1Austin Theiss followed the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) to Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.) on Friday afternoon for the Cow Patty 50. Drawing 26 Late Models, Theiss jumped up one spot in his heat race to finish sixth. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Austin grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in 20th, Theiss improved three spots in the 40-lapper to place 17th

The following night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) for the fifth annual Will McGary Memorial, Austin failed to finish his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place fourth or better to make the show, Theiss gained five spots to finish fifth, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the show. With $5,000 on the line, Austin was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on lap 18.

March 13, 2021 - Ronny Adams Memorial brings Theiss to Boothill
1Taking part in the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) opening weekend, Austin Theiss traveled to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Friday night for the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. In a field of 34 cars, Austin faded two spots in his heat race to register an eighth-place finish. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Theiss logged an eighth-place outing.

January 17, 2021 - Wild West Shootout continues on for Theiss
1On Wednesday night for the third round of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Ariz.), Theiss posted an eighth place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place third or better to make the show, Austin fell short with a seventh-place finish.

After a scheduled off day on Thursday, Austin came in seventh in his heat race on Friday, giving him one final shot at the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature with a consolation event. Transferring the Top 3, Theiss recorded a ninth-place outing.

On Saturday afternoon for the final $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Theiss fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Locking in the Top 3, Austin faded back to a 16th place outing.

He and his team made the decision to scratch from the finale on Sunday.

January 10, 2021 - Austin Theiss begins 2021 season with Wild West Shootout
1Getting an early start to the 2021 season, Austin Theiss invaded FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Ariz.) on Saturday afternoon for the 15th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. With a stout field of 57 Late Models converged in the pit area for the first round of six, Austin fell short of a transfer position in his heat with a ninth place finish, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking the Top 3 into the show, Theiss faded back to a 17th-place outing.

For another $5,000-to-win preliminary feature on Sunday, Theiss came in seventh in his heat race, giving him one last shot at the A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place third or better, Austin fell short with a ninth-place finish.

December 15, 2020 - Theiss wraps up 2020 season; Wild West Shootout to open 2021
The 2020 season saw Austin Theiss compete in a total of 12 events behind the wheel of his Theiss Motorsports Classics & Customs No. 7 Late Model entry. He stood on the podium two times, while collecting four Top-5 finishes, and six Top-10 outings.

He will kick off the 2021 season on January 13th at Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Ariz.) for the 15th annual Wild West Shootout.

October 24, 2020 - Theiss scores fifth place finish in Spooker 50 at Tri-State Speedway
1On Saturday afternoon Austin Theiss visited Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Okla.) to compete in a field of 25 Late Models for the Spooker. Picking up a heat race victory over Cole Farmer, Theiss locked into the second-starting position for the A-Main. With $3,000 on the line, Austin faded three spots in the 25-lapper to place fifth behind Ryan Gustin, Kyle Beard, Cole Wells, and Joe Godsey.

September 19, 2020 - Top-5 finish at Texana
1Saturday night saw Austin Theiss return with the Southern Touring Late Model Series at Texana Raceway Park (Edna, Tex.). In a field of 15 cars, Theiss clawed forward three spots in his heat race to finish fourth. Starting the $1,000-to-win A-Main in 12th, Austin advanced through the field eight spots in the 25-lapper to register a fourth place finish behind Cody Leonard, Ray Allen Kulhanek, and Beau Begnaud with Brandon Brzozowski coming in fifth.

September 6, 2020 - Theiss records 11th place finish at RPM Speedway
1Competing in his lone event over the Labor Day weekend, Austin Theiss travled to RPM Speedway (Crandall, Tex.) on Sunday afternoon for the second annual Ronny Sigman Memorial. Drawing 30 Late Models for the event co-sanctioned by the Southern Touring Late Model Series and the DFW Local Late Model Series, Austin secured his spot into the main event with a second place finish in his heat behind Beau Begnaud. With $1,200 on the line, Theiss faded three spots in the 30-lapper to place 11th.

August 15, 2020 - Sixth place finish in second round of Western Swing at Route 66
1On Friday evening Austin Theiss invaded West Texas Raceway (Lubbock, Tex.) piloting his Theiss Motorsports No. 7 Late Model for the Western Swing. Drawing 19 cars for the event co-sanctioned by the Southern Touring Late Model Series and the Sooner Late Model Series, Austin secured his spot into the opening night feature with a third place finish in his heat. Rolling off ninth, Theiss held his spot for all 30 laps to register a ninth place outing.

1The following night at Route 66 Motor Speedway (Amarillo, Tex.) for another $2,000-to-win A-Main, Theiss posted a fourth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the finale.
