1Competing in a pair of the Sooner Late Model Series events, Austin Theiss visited Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) on Friday evening for the $750 top prize. After battling for the lead in his heat race, Theiss suffered a broken tie rod transferring him into the B-Main with the 16th-starting position. Wheeling his way into the Top 5, Austin was challenging for a podium spot until he was spun around by another competitor. Joining the field from the tail, Austin Theiss rallied back to a 7th place finish.

The following night Austin was one of 20 cars on hand at Oklahoma Sports Park (Ada, Oklahoma) for another $750-to-win A-Main. Following a 3rd place finish in his heat race, Theiss was an early retiree from the 25-lap feature after the front-end of his car was destroyed by another competitor.
