June 25th, 2016 - Theiss Posts a Pair of 11th Place Outings
1Making his first-ever start at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Illinois), Austin Theiss made a stop on Thursday night for the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals Hell Tour event. Drawing forty-five cars for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Theiss logged a 8th place outing in his heat sending him into the C-Main.  Placing 2nd behind Brian Diveley, Austin would need a 2nd place finish or better in the B-Main to make the main event. Falling out of the top ten, Austin Theiss registered a 13th place outing.

1On Friday night Theiss headed to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for the two-day COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned show. Starting on the pole of his heat, Austin fell back to 6th sending him into the B-Main. Securing his spot in the consolation event, Austin Theiss went on to advance eight positions in the feature recording an 11th place finish.

June 11th, 2016 - Austin Takes Part in CCSDS/MARS Weekend
1Following the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Austin Theiss traveled to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) on Thursday night for the rescheduled Comp Camps Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) event. In a field of twenty-one cars, Theiss earned an 8th place starting spot for the feature via preliminary events. Dropping three positions in the 35-lap A-Main, Austin recorded an 11th place outing.

On Friday night the CCSDS collided with the MARS DIRTcar Series for the Red River Shootout at Outlaw Motorsports Park (Muskogee, Oklahoma). With a stout field of thirty-seven cars signed in, Theiss scored  runner-up finish in his heat behind Jack Sullivan earning him a 6th place starting position for the feature. 1Closing out the two-day Red River Shootout, thirty-seven Super Late Models were registered in at Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma) on Saturday night for another $3,000-to-win A-Main. Coming up short of a transfer spot in his heat, Theiss secured a tail-end starting spot for the feature through the consolation event. Improving six positions in the mai event, Austin logged a 18th place finish.
