April 16th, 2016 - Theiss Competes in Bad Boy 98
1Returning with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Austin Theiss traveled to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) on Friday night for the Bad boy 98 co-sanctioned by the CCSDS and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Drawing forty-five cars for the two-day special, Theiss transferred into the B-Main after placing 9th in his heat. Sending the top three out of the consolation event and into the $20,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Austin logged a 9th place finish bringing an early end to his weekend.

April 2nd, 2016 - Theiss Visits Timberline Speedway for CCSDS Season-Opener
1Traveling to Timberline Speedway (Maud, Texas) on Friday night, Austin Theiss was one of thirty-one Super Late Models signed in for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season-opener. Capturing a heat race win, Austin earned the pole position starting spot for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Falling four spots, Theiss landed a 5th place outing in the 30-lapper trailing Austin Rettig, Hunter Rasdon, Kyle Cummings, and Allen Tippen across the finish line. (Woody Hampton Photo)

1Returning with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Theiss headed to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night for another $2,000-to-win A-Main. Edging his way into the main event with a 4th place outing in his heat, Austin earned a 16th place starting spot for the feature. Holding onto his starting position for all 40 laps, Austin Theiss retired a 16th place finish.
