October 18th, 2014 - Austin Theiss Snags a Pair of Top Ten Finishes in Weekend Action
1Austin took his #7D Theiss Motorsports/MB Customs/Mullins Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified into battled with the Texas Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) on Friday night at Devil's Bowl Speedway (Mesquite, Texas).

With a stout field of thirty entries on hand for the event, Theiss struggled in heat race action and had to run a b-main. A sixth place finish in his b-main earned him the 22nd starting spot for the feature. Despite starting at the back of the pack, Austin sliced through the field to register a tenth place finish in the final rundown.

On Saturday evening, action shifted to Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) for the second round of the Jordan Page Nationals.

With the top sixteen starters already locked into the $1,500-to-win program, Austin used a heat race win to earn the seventeenth starting spot in the finale. In the main event he raced to his second tenth place finish in as many nights to cap off a solid weekend performance.

October 11th, 2014 - Theiss Dodges Mother Nature for a Top Ten Finish at Red River Speedway
1With Mother Nature washing out the Fall Southern Showndown at Sabine Motor Speedway (Many, Louisiana), the team traveled to Red River Speedway (Wichita Falls, Texas) for the annual Open Wheel Nationals.

Friday night's preliminary events were nixed by rain, forcing officials to condense festivities into a one-day program. Austin advanced to a second place finish in his heat race after starting fourth, locking him into the tenth starting spot for the $3,000-to-win finale.

When the main event went green, Theiss fell back early on before recovering to a solid seventh place finish in the final rundown.

October 4th, 2014 - Austin Theiss Lands Top Ten Finish at Salina Highbanks
1Austin and the team made their first ever visit to Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Oklahoma) on Saturday night for an unsanctioned Open Wheel Modified event.

Debuting his #7D Theiss Motorsports/MB Customs/Mullins Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified, Austin mounted a convincing charge from sixth to third in his heat race to lock into the ninth starting spot for the feature. He battled amongst the top ten throughout the event before ultimately registering a ninth place finish at the checkered flag.

October 2nd, 2014 - Theiss Takes Part in USRA National Championships at Lakeside
1Austin Theiss took part in the inaugural United States Racing Association (USRA) National Championships over the weekend at Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kansas).

A strong field of forty-six USRA Open Wheel Modified registered for Wednesday night's opening round, which saw Austin recording a fifth place finish in his heat race. Unfortunately, strong winds and heavy rain moved into the area forcing the balance of the program to be postponed until Thursday evening.

The inclement weather that starting on Wednesday night continued into the morning and early afternoon on Thursday, forcing officials to cancel Thursday night's program. With heat races complete, the remainder of Wednesday's events will now kick off Friday's festivities, followed by another complete program.

With several inches of rain falling and the threat of inclement weather throughout the weekend, the team made the decision to scratch from the remainder of the weekend.
