April 4th, 2014 - Austin Travels to Mountain Creek
Austin Theiss was back in action on Friday night with the newly-formed Texas Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS), as they held their first event at Mountain Creek Speedway (Grand Prairie, Texas).

Twenty-two Open Wheel Modified drivers signed in to chase the $1,500 winner’s check. Theiss started the night off with a sixth place finish in his heat race due to carburetor issues, which left him in the a b-main. A fourth place run in the b-main locked Austin into the 20th starting spot for the main event. Carburetor problems would once again plague the team during the feature as he was credited with a 20th place finish in the final rundown.
